WCMA Safety Product Changes To All Brands
The Window Covering Manufacturers Association has revised its safety standards for all window treatment products. Products have been revised to reflect new defaults to honor this requirement. This means products may be redesigned and may include the surcharges for either CORDLESS or CORD LOOP in the current base prices.
Why are these changes important to you?
1. Many brands are changing their products and product names to accommodate this new standard. THIS MEANS MANY PRODUCTS HAVE CHANGED IN COLLECTION, DESIGN ETC AND MAY NOT MATCH YOUR EXISTING PRODUCTS.
2. Cord loops will come with a new Cord tension device that looks and work differently than previous wall tensions.
3. Consumers are asked to familiarize themselves with the latest versions of products before ordering their custom shades. We are happy to answer questions on new specifications and send free swatches when available to assist with your ordering process.
