Norm Shutters Woodcore is an imported composite solid faux wood product with expert enameling and product quality. 6-8 week delivery and the price includes delivery. Cafe style/ Double hung
Cafe style means that the shutter is short of the window height and finished at the top. Double Hung means that you are ordering 2 separate shatters for the same window. The top has its own set of hinges and the bottom has its own seperate hinges.
Center Stile options
Butt style is only used for single panel. Rabbit is default and used most often as it overlaps and cuts out any light gaps.Astral is a grooved out center area most often used for professional installs.

Divider rail
A divider rail is used to add support to a shutter and any shutter over 78 inches need to have one. The customer tells us in the order comment section the place where they want the divider from the bottom of the rail to center of the divider rail.

Frame Buildout
Frames can be made thicker to accommodate a larger vanes width.

Hidden tilt bar is hidden behind the shutter and is not visible from the front.

Hinge Color (SS only w/Waterproof shutter)
Colors that are portrayed on this site are monitor sensitive and we can not be responsible for variances in monitors. Customers must see the color either locally with a Norman dealer or with samples that we can provide, if available. Norman will not send samples. *Waterproof shutters come with stainless steel hinges only*
Mount
Inside Mount manufacturers will take proper deductions for this shutter to fit properly.

Outside Mount-manufacturers will not deduct.


Caution: If you do not have 3" of space to mount this product you will need to order returns for your valance in inches at the comment section at the end of the cart and choose the inside mount option "with returns".
Mounting Frames
Mounting frames are used at times when you have no molding to mount the shutter too. Z Frames are very helpful when mounting to a dry wall trimmed window frame. This application gives a very finished look to you shutter. If a Z frame is too much trim, then a mounting strip is a good idea. This gives you flexibility for that stubborn, out of square window. Many customers like to mount their shutter directly to there molding and with that choice the, no mounting strip should be chosen. L-frame is for outside or inside mount. For an outside mount L Frame we will place the "L" frame at the edge of the window opening. The shutter will be approx. 3" wider than ordered shutter width from frame to frame outside edge. For an inside mount L frame we will deduct 1/8" to fit max frame to frame inside.
