Tips To Remember:

Use a steel measuring tape
Round down to the nearest 1/8" for width
Round up to the nearest 1/8" for height
See Product Specifications for more specific product info.
Sizes should always be provided in this format: Width x Height
On any measurement given, the factory does have a +/- 1/8 of an inch variance allowance.

Inside Mount Width
•    Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
•    Take the smallest of the three measurements to the nearest 1/8 of an inch.
•    The factory will take an approximate 1/2" deduction from the total width to allot for brackets and correct installation.

Inside Mount Height
•    Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three spots across the window.
•    Take the largest of the three measurements.

Outside Mount Width
•    Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame (outer edge) OR however wide you want the finished product to be.
•    Be sure to measure wide enough to cover the entire window plus offer enough coverage to avoid light or privacy gaps. At least 1 1/2" past the opening on EACH side is suggested if you do not have molding/trim.
•    An outside mount valance with returns will be wider than the ordered width to accommodate covering the headrail and hardware.

Outside Mount Height
•    Measure the top and bottom edge of window frame/trim. If no trim, be sure you provide the height you want the shade to be from top of the headrail to bottom of the bottom rail.
•    Be sure to allot for proper coverage for light control and mounting hardware if mounting above the window opening to wall surface. You will need 2 inches of surface area to mount above the opening. Call us for further instruction if needed.

Do you charge for shipping?

Shipping is included in most products online. The exceptions are Norm Brand and freight sizes. Shipping fees will be seen prior to ordering in your cart. There may be freight exceptions depending on quantity of freight items in your order. All vendors have different freight policies. So you may receive an email or call in the unusual circumstance where additional charges apply.

Hawaii and Alaska Deliveries: Surcharges are online and will apply to your order for most products shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. However there are some cases with larger orders, etc where you may get a call from us with additional charges for orders shipping here.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping of your custom product(s) with few exceptions take between 2-3 weeks from the time of ordering. Our Quick Ship branded products usually ship within 5 business days depending on the current supply and demand of the product.

All products are custom so the factories take time to process and make each item.

Exceptions:

Freight items over 90 inches will take a few days longer as they ship by freight handlers. Shutters and some woven wood programs take longer than 2-3 weeks. The 4 Week Norm Shutter program usually arrives within 4-5 weeks. All other Shutter programs take approximately 7-10 weeks. As will all shipping, holidays will affect the ship times.
