Extension Brackets
Extension Brackets or Spacers are only used when you are mounting an outside mount and would like to bring the blind forward. Projection brackets extend the window treatment headrail out from the wall in order to give additional clearance to avoid the window operating hardware or molding. Projection brackets are available at no charge, upon request.

Hold Downs
Hold Down Brackets are meant for holding down the bottom rail so that the blind doesn't hit the door when opening.

Shade Control options
Cordless, Cordless Top Down-Bottom up, Top Down-Bottom up with Standard Cords, Cord Loop and Standard Cords are the options available on these Roman Shades.

Two on One Option
On 2 blinds on 1 headrail, the width that you are requesting should be the overall width. Example, if you want a 70 inch blind sent with 2 35 inch blinds ,you should order 70 wide. We will assume a split evenly unless you tell us differently in the comment section. There you will identify the right and left blind size you need.

Valance options
On Cordless Top Down-Bottom Up and Standard Top Down-Bottom Up have fabric valances standard. A fabric valance is optional on the Standard Cord, Cord Loop, and Cordless Blinds. On these particular blinds, a color coordinated aluminum headrail is what you would see. We would suggest the fabric valance. It has a much nicer look than just the headrail itself. The height of the valance is 4 5/8". Outside mount valance returns are 1 5/8". Inside mount shades do not come with returns. All valances have an easy snap-on feature.

Romans are offered in two styles: flat fold and soft fold (hobbled). Both add depth and dramatic presentation to any window.

Flat Fold

An excellent choice for covering wide or double windows.
Two shades operate independently on the same headrail.
Standard option for windows wider than 54" when choosing a stripe or pattern fabric
Not available with the motorization option

Valances

Levolor roman shades come standard with a sleek metal headrail coordinating to your selected fabric. Consider upgrading to a classic fabric valance to create a more elegant and traditional look.

Tips To Remember:

Use a steel measuring tape
Round down to the nearest 1/8" for width
Round up to the nearest 1/8" for height

Sizes should always be provided in this format: Width x Height
On any measurement given, the factory does have a +/- 1/8 of an inch variance allowance.

Measure For Roman Shades

Inside Mount Width

•   Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
•   Take the smallest of the three measurements to the nearest 1/8 of an inch.
•   The factory will take an approximate 3/8 of an inch deduction from the total width (headrail and fabric) to allow for correct installation.

Inside Mount Height

•   Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three spots across window.
•   Take the largest of the three measurements.

Outside Mount Width

•   Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame (outer edge) OR how wide you want the product to be.
•   Be sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window plus offer enough coverage to avoid light or privacy gap. This is especially important if you have no trim and are installing to sheet rock or dry wall surface. 1-2 inches past the opening on EACH side is suggested if you do not have molding/trim.
•   French doors-you should have a minimum of 1 inch past the glass on each side added to the glass measurement for coverage.

Outside Mount Height

•   Measure the top and bottom edge of window frame/trim. If no trim, be sure you provide the height you want the shade to be from top of the headrail to bottom of the bottom rail.
•   Be sure to allot for coverage for light control and mounting hardware if mounting above window opening to wall surface. You will need 2 inches of surface area to mount above opening. Call us for further instruction if needed.
•   French doors-Be sure to add 2 inches for mounting above glass on surface of door for installation brackets and 2 inches below for hold down bracket install.-Call us for more information on this type of install.
