LIGHTSOUT - You can request the LightsOut feature on your wood blinds (All Styles) and the slats will be cut without route holes. This reduces the light leakage and allows for better room darkening as well as more privacy when the blinds are closed. LightsOut is not available with the cordless lift systems or decorative/solid tapes SHIPPING INFO: This product does take 3-4 weeks to arrive unlike most wood blind products we offer.

Standard Cordlock/Cord Tilt
Slats are lifted and lowered with the pull of a color coordinated lift cord that features a Break-Away Stop Ball that separates under pressure to help protect children and pets. Break-Away Stop Ball not required with cordless lift or cordless lift and lock. Slats are tilted open and closed by pulling the color coordinated tilt cord control. Standard cord length is half the blind height.
Wand Tilt
You can also opt for a color coordinated wood wand tilt control to adjust your blinds open or closed with a simple twist. Wood wands up to 48" long. Clear plastic wands are used in 60", 70", 78", 90" and 120" increments. Wand tilts only available on 1 3/8" and 2" slat styles.
Cordless Lift Systems
Want superior functionality? Cordless lift system is raised and lowered from the bottom rail with ease using just your fingertips. This system is available with cord, wand or remote tilt in the left position only. Cordless lift and lock system is raised and lowered by pushing the button on the bottom rail which locks the blind in place. Only available on 2" slat styles.
Remotetilt Motorization
Ideal for hard to reach windows, this battery-operated system tilts slats open and closed with the touch of a button. The wireless system operates within a 65 foot radius, with no line of sight required. Choose a one-channel remote to operate all your blinds at once or opt for five-channels to operate them individually. Remotetilt motorized blinds are powered by Somfy.
Two/Three on One
Keep large windows looking clean and uniform by putting two or three blinds on one continuous headrail. They look like one blind, but operate independently. There will be a 1/2" maximum light gap between mulitple blinds on one headrail. Two or three on one not available with cordless lift or remotetilt upgrades.
Rounded Corners
For a sleeker contour, rounded corners let you create a softer look
Decorative Tape
Available in a variety of patterns and solid colors. Decorative tapes help you add a personal accent to tie your windows in with the rest of your room. Also, the tapes cover the route holes blocking any additional incoming light. The decorative tapes are attached to a solid colored tape, using a high tech gluing process, that is slightly narrower than the width of the decorative tape. Decorative tapes are only applied to the front ladder of the blind. The back ladder will have a solid color tape visible. Tapes are not available with the cordless lift systems or lightsout feature.
Tape Valance
Just like using decorative tapes to cover route holes, you can upgrade by adding a tape to the valance at the top of your window to blend with the rest of your decor.
Standard Decorative Valance
This valance is standard on all smooth finish wood blinds with a distinctive style that will complement any decor.
Optional Valances
You can opt for the sleek, contemporary design of the 3" Crescent (not available on special finishes) or 3" Soho valance (not available on Enhanced Grain finish) It's a great choice for more modern room settings. Upgrade to a 4" Forte valance or Keystone valance used for a decorative element with added dimension or to cover splices in oversized valances.
Magnetic Valance Attachment System on all wood blinds.
LightsOut Routeless Feature
Dramatically reduce light leakage! Routeless slats are specially designed without standard route holes featuring notches at the rear of the slat instead of route holes. There will be (2) notches approximately 6" in from the end of the slat.
Trapezoid Bottomrail
This provides a contoured, modern look with improved blind operation. Also accomodates a smaller 1" tape clamp when tapes are ordered. Wood tone blinds include antique brass tape clamps and White/Neutral tone blinds include white tape clamps on the bottom rail.

Measure For Wood or Faux Wood Blinds

Inside Mount Width

•    Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
•    Take the smallest of the three measurements to the nearest 1/8 of an inch.
•    The factory will take an approximate 1/2 of an inch deduction from the total width to a lot for brackets and correct installation.

Inside Mount Height

•    Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three spots across window.
•    Take the largest of the three measurements.

Outside Mount Width

•    Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame (outer edge) OR how wide you want the product to be.
•    Be sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window plus offer enough coverage to avoid light or privacy gap. 2 inches past the opening on EACH side is suggested if you do not have molding/trim.
•    An Outside Valance with returns will be wider than the ordered width to accommodate covering the headrail and mount.

Outside Mount Height

•    Measure the top and bottom edge of window frame/trim. If no trim, be sure you provide the height you want the shade to be from top of the headrail to bottom of the bottom rail.
•    Be sure to allot for coverage for light control and mounting hardware if mounting above window opening to wall surface. You will need 2 inches of surface area to mount above opening. Call us for further instruction if needed.
