Functionality and choice
If you are of the opinion that it doesn’t matter what covers your windows, then you need to consider what they are for. One function is, of course, to make the room look good. There’s no doubt about what the right window coverings can do for a room, whether you want to go for decorative or no-nonsense. But another thing they do is keep the room cool by insulating against the sun’s rays. Curtains or window blinds, it doesn’t matter.
